Bhopal, March 12 -- The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) is set to hold its budget meeting on March 25 or 26, where critical decisions, including a possible water tax hike, will be on the agenda.
The Mayor-in-Council (MIC) is expected to review a proposal to increase water tax by up to 10% before the budget meeting. If approved, residents may have to pay an additional Rs 20 per month. The budget for this financial year is likely to exceed Rs 2,600 crore.
