Bhopal, April 7 -- Health camps and awareness sessions with a focus on safe births and maternal wellbeing will mark the World Health Day in the state capital today.
The day will be observed across Madhya Pradesh with a spotlight on maternal and newborn health. Events include screening camps and awareness sessions at government health centres.
This year's theme, Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures, emphasises care during pregnancy, childbirth and infancy. Sessions will include counselling, expert talks and interactive discussions on maternal nutrition, neonatal care and early interventions.
