BHOPAL, Feb. 13 -- Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured a major order under domestic competitive bidding, for setting up the 2x660 MW Koradi supercritical thermal power station (Units 11 & 12), in Nagpur district, Maharashtra. The order has been placed on BHEL by MAHAGENCO.

BHEL's scope of work in the project envisages design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the main plant package (Boiler, Turbine & Generator) and associated auxiliaries, along with all necessary electrical, civil, and structural works. The scope also includes the supply of advanced, high-efficiency emission control equipment.
