DEHRADUN, Feb. 21 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt has been elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Uttarakhand. Greeted enthusiastically by party workers and leaders at the party's State office on Tuesday, Bhatt exhorted the party members to not rest for the next 100 days as said by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, Bhatt along with senior office bearers of the BJP went to the Vidhan Sabha to receive the certificate of election from the returning officer.
