Kolkata, Nov. 15 -- The Trinamool Congress has asserted that the Bihar election results will have no effect on Bengal, as it is Chief Minister "Mamata Banerjee who matters in Banga." The TMC's remarks came after the State BJP leaders gave a call for a "final putsch" to throw out Banerjee from power.

"Out of Anga (Bihar), Banga (Bengal) and Kalinga (Odisha), two have fallen. Now it is the turn of Banga. The BJP workers are called upon to prepare for the final battle in 2026 when the corrupt Mamata Banerjee government will be pulled down from power," Bengal Opposition Leader Suvendu Adhikari said.
