Kolkata, Feb. 3 -- Apparently uneasy about the impact that January 22 inauguration of Ram Temple at Ayodhya could produce on the coming general elections, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday said that she too had constructed temples and revived them but never made a political issue out of it.
Stopping short of naming Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Chief Minister said, "I too have renovated and constructed many temples and religious places but never have made a political issue out of it like it is done in many places after inaugurating temples . my question is why we should join politics with religion."
