Meerut, March 31 -- Once lovers on the run, now prisoners with new roles-Muskan Rastogi and her accomplice Sahil Shukla, accused of murdering Muskan's husband Saurabh, have begun their lives behind bars with assigned jail duties. While Muskan will learn sewing and embroidery inside the women's barrack, Sahil has chosen to grow vegetables within the prison compound.
After spending ten days in the treatment barrack as per protocol, the jail administration shifted Muskan to barrack 12B and Sahil to barrack 18A. Senior Jail Superintendent Dr. Viresh Raj Sharma stated that the transition followed the standard procedure of keeping new prisoners in the treatment barrack for an initial period before moving them to regular barracks.
