Ranchi, June 27 -- Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) celebrated its 39th Foundation Day with full of joy, on Wednesday.

Speaking as Chief Guest on the occasion, Jharkhand Agriculture Minister, Randhir Singh, said that with the cooperation of the State and Central Government, the University has been path founder in the field of agriculture education, research and dissemination and its contribution has changed greatly in the State's agricultural landscape.

"According to the report of Niti Ayog, the agricultural growth rate in the State has reached from 4 to 14 per cent. In the case of Soil Health Card Distribution and Prime Minister Irrigation Scheme, Jharkhand got first place in 27 states," said Singh.
