RAIPUR, March 3 -- The Maa Bamleshwari Devi Temple in Dongargarh is set to become a key centre of religious tourism following the completion of the development project for Rs 43.33 crores, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Tuesday.

It will also open new avenues in tourism development and employment to local residents, Baghel said.

Under the Central government's Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD), the bhoomi pujan event was done by Baghel in the presence of Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel virtually.
