Bhopal, March 19 -- Ayodhyanagar police have arrested two miscreants involved in a series of mobile snatching incidents across the city, recovering eight stolen mobile phones and a motorcycle worth Rs 3.5 lakh.
The stolen mobile phones, taken from Ayodhyanagar and other areas on February 26, 2025, were seized from the accused during the investigation. Among the recovered items were high-end smartphones, including OnePlus Nord 2, Vivo, Realme, and Oppo models, along with the motorcycle used to commit the crimes.
The police revealed that the accused targeted pedestrians, snatching mobile phones from their hands while riding the motorcycle. Their motive was to earn quick money and fund their expensive lifestyle.
