Dibrugarh, July 25 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma laid foundation stones for various projects worth more than Rs 500 crore in Dibrugarh on Thursday.
In the first programme, Sarma laid the foundation stone for the infrastructure upgradation of Dibrugarh University under the Chief Minister's Special Grant and Pradhan Mantri Uchhatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA), worth Rs 146.43 crore. "Dibrugarh University, an epicentre of learning, is headed towards the next phase of its growth as it adds more facilities for students. Today, I am initiating work on several important projects," he said.
