India, Nov. 29 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday launched a scheme for providing support to students appearing for the class 10 board examinations. Under the 'Prerona' scheme, the state Government will give '300 per month till the exams are completed to ensure that they get basic amenities, including nutrition, the chief minister said at the launch programme here.

The Government has already provided the money to the examinees for this month and their board exam is scheduled in February next year, officials said.
