India, Nov. 13 -- Ashok Leyland Ltd, one of India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, reported a largely steady performance for the second quarter of FY26 with net profit at '771 crore, even as revenue rose 9.3 percent to '9,588 crore. The results were announced on Wednesday reflecting powerful operational efficiency and continued demand across domestic and international markets.

The company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) saw a stronger showing rising 14.2 percent to '1,162 crore with margins improving to 12.1 percent from 11.6 per cent a year ago.
