Chandigarh, April 17 -- The war of words between AAP and Congress escalated sharply with AAP Punjab president Aman Arora on Wednesday launching a blistering counterattack on the Leader of Opposition in Vidhan Sabha Partap Singh Bajwa. A day after Bajwa warned Arora to "watch his words", Arora hit back, dredging up allegations of Bajwa's alleged links with militants and smugglers during the turbulent 1990s.
Referring to the interrogation of a Khalistan Liberation Force terrorist Manjit Singh alias 'Doctor', Arora asked Bajwa if he remembered being named in plans to assassinate senior Congress leaders.
