New Delhi, April 9 -- Given the situation in the country in the backdrop of coronavirus pandemic, the Indian Army has postponed its bi-annual Commanders' Conference to be held for three days here starting April 16. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General M M Naravane were scheduled to address the top echelon on various issues of strategic importance.

The conclave was slated to review operational preparedness to deal with any situation on the western border facing Pakistan and the northern border facing China.
