Bhopal, June 25 -- A 37-year-old army personnel tragically lost his life during a training exercise at the Army Firing Range in Sukhi Sewania, on the outskirts of Bhopal, after being struck by a 4-kg iron dummy bomb dropped from a drone at a height of 400 feet. The victim, Havildar Vijay Singh, a soldier from Uttarakhand, was participating in a drone-based bombing training session when the incident occurred.
The training exercise was focused on teaching military personnel how to drop bombs from drones while implementing necessary safety measures.
