India, Dec. 18 -- In a significant boost to its operational capabilities along the northern borders, the Indian Army successfully transported tanks, artillery guns, and engineering equipment to the Kashmir Valley using a Military Special Train on December 16, 2025.
This operation marks the first large-scale rail movement of heavy military equipment into the region, via the newly inaugurated world's highest railway arch bridge over the Chenab River.
