Jamshedpur, May 23 -- Renowned photojournalist Anup Mishra was awarded first prize in the 'Photography Competition - FAUNA' held as part of the International Biodiversity Day celebrations. The event, organized by the Jharkhand State Biodiversity Board, took place at Palash Auditorium in Doranda, Ranchi. Chief Secretary of Jharkhand, Alka Tiwari, honored Mishra by presenting him with a citation and a cash incentive of Rs.5,000 in recognition of his photographic excellence and contribution to biodiversity awareness.
