BHOPAL, Feb. 13 -- In a large-scale operation, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) anti-encroachment teams removed illegal structures from several parts of the city on Wednesday.

The action, part of the Global Investors Summit (GIS) preparations, targeted key areas where illegal encroachments were obstructing public movement and access.

The operation was particularly extensive near the Radisson Hotel in Ward 50, where sand and gravel dumped on the streets were swiftly removed using JCB machines and dumpers. In addition, several unauthorised sheds in the area were demolished, clearing valuable space.
