India, Feb. 5 -- Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will launch India's first cooperative-based ride-hailing platform, "Bharat Taxi," on Thursday. Six drivers, referred to as 'Sarathis' will be honoured for their outstanding contributions to the cooperative-based mobility ecosystem. This launch will be a significant milestone in the Government's continued efforts to strengthen the cooperative sector and promote inclusive, citizen-centric mobility solutions.
