Bathinda, May 30 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday maintained that the state's 'pro-farmer' Land Pooling Policy is a transformative initiative designed to provide farmers with a sustainable income and actively involve them in Punjab's development. Mann, interacting with farmers in Bathinda, asserted that agriculture has ceased to be a profitable venture, and the new land pooling policy offers a much-needed alternative for farmers struggling with diminishing returns.
