BHOPAL, Jan. 31 -- Member of Parliament from Bhopal Alok Sharma and Mayor Malti Rai performed Bhumi Pujan for a series of development projects for the residents of Barela village and Teela Jamalpura areas of the state capital on Thursday.

The initiatives, valued in crores of rupees, are set to enhance infrastructure and public amenities in these areas. The development works at Barela are estimated at Rs 1.1 crores, while those at Teela Jamalpura will cost Rs 3.5 crores.
