Bhopal, May 9 -- A major accident was narrowly averted at Bhopal railway station on Thursday, thanks to the prompt action of Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel and the train manager. A 35-year-old woman, attempting to board a moving train, lost her balance and was about to fall between the train and the platform when she was pulled to safety.
The incident occurred on Platform 1 as Train No. 20481 Jodhpur-Tiruchirappalli Humsafar Express was departing the station. The woman passenger, carrying a suitcase, attempted to board AC Coach B7 while the train was in motion.
