India, Nov. 23 -- The air quality commission in the Capital has upgraded rules under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), moving high-level restrictions to mid-level alerts as severe pollution continues to plague the city. Under the new rules, restrictions from the GRAP-IV are now applicable under GRAP-III, while curbs that previously fell under GRAP-II will now be enforced at GRAP-I Currently, the national Capital is under GRAP-III in view of a 401-plus Air Quality Index (AQI).
