BHOPAL, Feb. 24 -- The AIIMS Bhopal is conducting a groundbreaking study to improve the early and accurate diagnosis of prostate cancer, which is one of the most common cancers among men.
The study, titled "Using PCA3 to Diagnose Different Stages of Prostate Cancer: A Central India-Based Pilot Study," is being led by Dr Debprosit Karmakar under the guidance of Dr. Sukhes Mukherjee from the Department of Biochemistry and Dr. Ketan Mehra from Urology. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men globally and ranks sixth in India.
