Bhopal, June 16 -- AIIMS Bhopal's Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) successfully performed a complex and rare surgery on a 30-year-old male patient, who had been suffering from a progressively growing mass on the right side of his chest for over a year and a half. Despite consulting multiple hospitals, the patient sought help at AIIMS Bhopal after finding no relief.
Investigations revealed a large tumor on the right side of the chest, which had encased multiple ribs and was pressing on the right lung, causing significant discomfort.
