BHOPAL, Feb. 2 -- Recently, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal successfully treated a 32-year-old patient from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, with complex heart disease through minimal invasive cardiac surgery.

The patient came to AIIMS Bhopal with complaints of chest pain and difficulty in breathing. After routine tests, doctors found a severe narrowing in one of his heart valves (Aortic Stenosis).

The patient was admitted to the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) ward for surgical management. The surgical team of the Cardiothoracic department performed the operation using the latest Heart Port technique.
