Bhopal, June 20 -- AIIMS Bhopal marked World Sickle Cell Awareness Day with a comprehensive awareness and outreach program organized by the Department of Pediatrics in collaboration with the Departments of Pathology & Lab Medicine, Medical Oncology & Haematology, Orthopaedics, and AYUSH. The theme for this year, "TELL IT LOUD", emphasized the importance of multi-stakeholder engagement to ensure comprehensive care and increased awareness for patients living with sickle cell disease.
