Bhopal, April 14 -- To enhance eye care services and reduce patient wait times, AIIMS Bhopal has inaugurated two additional refraction units in its Ophthalmology OPD, increasing the total number of such units to six. The move aims to address the growing patient load and ensure timely diagnosis and treatment of eye-related conditions.
A dedicated team of eight professionals, including three newly appointed refractionists (eye examination technicians), will now operate the expanded facility. The units are equipped to conduct comprehensive eye evaluations-from corneal assessments to eye muscle function tests.
