Chennai, Oct. 25 -- The ruling AIADMK in Tami Nadu got enough reasons to celebrate 2019 Diwali with gaiety as it wrested two Assembly constituencies from its rivals in the bypolls held on October 21.
The AIADMK candidates Muthamilselvan and V Narayanan registered impressive wins from their rivals, the DMK and the Congress candidates by impressive margins. The bypolls were necessitated by the death of the DMK legislator Radhamani (Vikravandi) and the resignation of H Vasanthkumar (Nanguneri) who was elected to the Lok Sabha in the May 2019 general election.
