India, March 9 -- Amidst a lingering process of the Government in announcing its decisions on the issues of the teachers of the 662 colleges' association, its president Golak Nayak is still hopeful of getting good news.
The association has been on a dharana at the Lower PMG since February 13, 2023 and organised five mass rallies and congregations with its demands like equal pay for equal grade pay, service conditions and pension. At different points of time, the Government has promised to fulfil their demands. 5T Chairman VK Pandian during his district tours received many applications from the students urging him to sort out the problems of the teachers. But till date, no decision has been taken by the Government.
