India, Nov. 4 -- In the past few decades, several historians and academics tried to make sense of the fast-changing, turbulent, and disruptive world order. There were discussions on the 'Clash of Civilisations' between Christianity and Islam that would spill over into politics, economics, and military endeavours. The 'End of History,' i.e., history as we know it, sparked debates about the strengths and stability of democracies, liberal societies, and capitalism. There were predictions about the end of both Communism and Capitalism, and both survive unevenly, although they comprise powerful nations. The bipolar world of the Cold War gave way to a 'hot' unipolar one that combined violence and terrorism. Now, we talk of a multi-polar world....
