Ranchi, Feb. 19 -- After the chaos which ensued at Ranchi railway station on Sunday where five women were reported to have fainted due to suffocation, the Ranchi Railway Division has adopted some measures for management of passengers at major railway stations.
With an increase in the number of travellers at the major stations of the Ranchi Railway Division, especially at the time of the trains going to Prayagraj, only those passengers with valid tickets and whose trains have arrived at the commencing station are being allowed entry on the platform while they are also being made to stand in a queue to board a coach.
