Lucknow, May 15 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday termed food adulteration and the trade of counterfeit medicines as a "social crime" and said such practices pose a serious threat to public health.
Emphasising the government's zero-tolerance policy, the Chief Minister directed authorities to take strict and decisive action against offenders. He also suggested publicly identifying the culprits by displaying their photographs at major intersections to generate awareness and social disapproval.
