Jammu, May 19 -- In the aftermath of the Pahalgam massacre, holding an incident-free Amarnath yatra this year will be one of the challenging tasks for the Union Territory administration in Jammu and Kashmir.
The 38-day-long yatra will commence on July 3, simultaneously from both the routes, the Pahalgam track in Anantnag district and Baltal in Ganderbal district, and it will culminate on August 9 on Raksha Bandhan.
On ground zero, the security forces have already intensified anti-terror operations in the South Kashmir districts of Kashmir to flush out the terrorists hiding in the area to create a conducive atmosphere of peace.
