Chandigarh/Ludhiana, Feb. 4 -- After reports surfaced that CCTV cameras in tehsils across Punjab were deliberately misdirected or "out of focus" - focusing on ceiling fans and doors instead of capturing public dealings, the purpose for which these were installed, the state's Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue) and Financial Commissioner Revenue (FCR) Anurag Verma on Monday decided to check the ground realities. Verma conducted a surprise raid at the Ludhiana East Tehsil complex.
