NEW DELHI, Aug. 23 -- A day after Dalits organised a rally to protest the demolition of Sant Ravidas temple in Tughlakabad by the Delhi Development Authority on the Supreme Court order, the Delhi Assembly on Thursday passed a resolution to reconstruct the temple at the "same spot" and demanded that the Central Government to bring an ordinance to transfer the land right for Sant Ravidas temple.

The Assembly demanded that the Centre should file a review petition before the Supreme Court.
