Jamshedpur, April 15 -- Following Maoists activities in West Singhbhum, Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Gupta on Monday reiterated that 95% of Jharkhand's Naxal problem has been addressed, while the remaining challenges are concentrated in the West Singhbhum region.

He expressed an urgent need for intensified operations and enhanced coordination among various security forces to eliminate the residual Naxal presence.

In a high-level review meeting held in the Naxal-affected region of West Singhbhum, the Jharkhand Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) leadership laid out several decisive steps to intensify and streamline ongoing anti-Naxal operations in the district.
