Bhopal, May 30 -- Madhya Pradesh on Thursday allotted nearly 94,000 free seats in private schools under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, with a large number of children securing admission to schools of their choice.

The state government published the results through SMS and its official website. Out of 1,66,751 applicants, 93,822 seats across 18,481 schools were filled for Nursery, KG-1 and Class 1 admissions.

A remarkable 87% of the 83,483 children who marked a preferred school were allotted that very option. Parents have from June 2 to June 10 to complete the admission process at their designated schools. To finalise admission, parents must visit the school with the allotment letter.
