BHOPAL, March 21 -- The Election Commission has decided to operate voter awareness vehicles for maximum voting in the districts of the state where there was less voting during the last Lok Sabha elections. These vehicles will go to urban and rural areas of these districts for a month to motivate people to vote and create awareness about fair elections.

In the districts, these vehicles will also move in the areas indicated by the Collector and District Election Officers and will conduct maximum awareness programs in the areas where the inclination towards voting is less.

After the implementation of the code of conduct for Lok Sabha elections, these vehicles were flagged off by Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan today.
