Lucknow, March 11 -- Five persons were killed and three others were critically injured in a tragic road accident on National Highway 27 under Nagar Kotwali police station of Basti district early Monday morning.
Those injured in the accident have been admitted to a hospital.
According to reports, the accident occurred around 7 am when a car collided with a container near a Tata agency in Gotwa around 7 am on Monday. The container heading towards Ayodhya from Basti changed lanes and collided with the car coming from the opposite direction.
The occupants of the car were going from Gujarat to Bihar.
