Jamshedpur, April 3 -- In a significant breakthrough, security forces recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) during an ongoing anti-Naxal operation in Jharkhand. The operation, led by a joint team comprising Jharkhand Police, CRPF, and COBRA battalions, has been actively targeting Naxal-affected regions to ensure security in the area.
During the operation, an IED weighing approximately 5 kg was discovered, which had been previously planted by Naxal groups to target security personnel. The bomb disposal squad immediately neutralized the explosive on-site, preventing any potential casualties.
