Gurugram, April 7 -- A team of Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Sector-17 of the Haryana police arrested four accused on Monday in connection with firing at a mosque in Gurugram's Dhankot village.

According to police, the culprits revealed that they were very angry with the people of the Tablighi Jamaat gathering at Nizamuddin Markaz spreading corona virus in several States, and had reached the mosque and ensure nobody was hiding there.

The accused have been identified as Vinod (40), Pawan aka Fighter (41) are a residents of Basai village in Gurugram, Aalam Khan (39) is a resident of Devilal Colony and Harkesh (18) hails from Uttar Pradesh's Bareli. The police have recovered the pistol and the vehicle Gypsy which was used in the crime.
