BHUBANESWAR, Sept. 22 -- The Covid-19 death toll surged to 710 with nine patients undergoing treatment at various hospitals succumbing to the virus on Monday in the State, the Health and Family Welfare Department said. The new deaths were reported from eight districts. While two patients died in Keonjhar district, one casualty each was registered in Baleswar, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur and Nayagarh districts.
The deaths in Keonjhar were of a 39-year-old-man and a 59-year-old man. The other deceased were a 48-year-old man of Baleswar, a 30-year-old woman of Jagatsinghpur, a 54-year-old man of Kandhamal, a 90-year-old man of Khordha, a 74-year-old man of Mayurbhanj, a 29-year-old man of Nabarangpur and a 51-ye...
