Garhwa, Feb. 23 -- The monthly Lok Adalat took place on Saturday. It resolved 333 cases and generated Rs 1,569,700.00.

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Garhwa, organised the event. It followed instructions from the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), Ranchi. Nalin Kumar, Principal District Judge and Chairman of DLSA Garhwa, oversaw the event. The "Monthly Lok Adalat-cum-Special Lok Adalat" dealt with NI Act and marriage issues. 40 resolved cases were about marriage. 16 related to the NI Act. 29 were minor criminal cases. 102 involved the electricity department. 146 were other types of cases.
