India, Jan. 31 -- A 30-year-old Government school teacher was killed on Friday afternoon after a water tanker ran over her scooter on a busy stretch of road in northwest Delhi's Adarsh Nagar area.
The fatal accident took place around 2.22 pm near Shah Alam Bandh on the 51-foot road, a key arterial route that witnesses heavy traffic during peak hours. Police said the tanker struck the scooter with considerable force, leaving the woman critically injured. She died on the spot before any medical help could reach her.
