DALTONGANJ, April 23 -- One of the three youths attacked a cook at one stone mine at Asehar last night under the Panki police station limits. Asehar has 2 stone mines.
The cook identified as Suraj Chandravanshi has multiple injuries on limbs but not on head. He was given treatment. None of the injuries were grievous or life threatening.
The injuries were inflicted with a desi chopper.
IPS probationer doing mandatory officer in charge ship of the Panki police station Gaurav Goswami said the attack was the fall out of a tiff with the victim by the three in the Sunday Haat of Asehar.
The three again reached the mine where this cook was busy preparing food at night and with a desi chopper attacked the cook and fled from the scene.
