Ranchi, March 13 -- Medicos who study from government medical colleges of Jharkhand and do not remain in government service for three years will have to pay financial compensation. In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, amending the earlier decision, the government has retained the compensation of Rs 30 lakh for doctors leaving government service in the first year, but such doctors leaving in the second year will have to pay Rs 1.25 lakh per month for the remaining three years of service.
