Bhopal, March 8 -- Gross negligence by ambulance staff of Guna District Hospital resulted in the tragic death of a three-year-old girl after oxygen ran out in the ambulance transporting her to Bhopal. The ambulance staff further abandoned the child at the gate of Biora Civil Hospital and fled without providing a referral slip or admitting her.

The child, identified as Harshita Kushwaha, a resident of village Patna in Guna district, was admitted to Guna Government Hospital on Thursday due to high fever. As her condition worsened, doctors referred her to Bhopal at 6:40 am on Friday.
