Garhwa, April 20 -- On Friday night, three people were wounded by gunshots during celebratory firing at a Tilak ceremony in Rezo village, within the Meral Police Station's jurisdiction. All those injured received initial treatment at a private hospital in Garhwa. Individuals with more serious injuries were then admitted to a private medical facility in Medininagar for further treatment.
The injured have been identified as Chotu Dubey, son of Vasudev Dubey, a resident of Kanchanpur, in the Ranka Police Station area; Mukesh Tiwari, son of Jwala Tiwari, from Tetradih village, also within the Ranka Police Station boundaries; and Manoj Gupta, son of Bhola Sah, residing on Ranka Hospital Road.
